“eutopia” ――無限の色彩と生命に溢れるユートピア。誕生石と星座石のご紹介
柔らかなトーンから極彩色まで、色とりどりのカラーストーンを使った新作”eutopia”シリーズ。熱い夏が待ち遠しくなる、Samarkandの砂漠やJaipurの宝石を彷彿とさせるオリエンタルなカラーリングです。今回は、”eutopia”シリーズのカラーストーンを、星座石に当てはめてご紹介していきます。
誕生石と星座石の違いを知っていますか？
宝石の持つ輝きは強いパワーを秘めており、そのパワーは人に様々な影響をもたらします。古来より人々は、護符としての役割を果たす宝石、守護石と呼ばれるものを求めてきました。自分の守護石を選ぶには２つの方法があります。１つは生まれた月に当てられた宝石を選ぶ“誕生石”。もう１つが星座で決める“星座石”です。
誕生石
日本で馴染み深い“誕生石”は、20世紀にニューヨークの宝石商たちが宝石の販売促進のために宣伝したことで広まったそう。誕生石を身に着けていると、幸せが訪れると言われています。
星座石
ヨーロッパで広く信奉されている“星座石”の歴史は、占星術の生まれた紀元前6世紀のバビロニア帝国まで遡ります。“誕生石”よりも歴史が長く、はるか昔から星座と宝石は深い繋がりを持ってきたことがうかがえますね。星座石を持つことで、私たちは生まれながらの自分の色（パワー）を強めることができ、宝石が輝くほど、運勢は良い方向に導かれると言われています。
