These cord bracelets are made by an NGO that supports women in India in the process of cord assembly, and as each piece is done by hand by the women of the NGO, your purchase will help support their income. A lovely gold mini-pouch produced by the same NGO is included.
■About Donation
If you purchase a bracelet, maximumly \1,100 will be donated. You can select where to donate by proceeding purchase.
1[Support for developing countries.] Donation to the "Children's Educational Environment Improvement Program" in Bihar, India, a custom made project of ARTIDA OUD by Plan International, an international NGO. In addition to the construction of six kindergartens, we will provide ongoing support to improve the skills of kindergarten teachers and raise awareness among parents so that a sustainable environment can be created.
2.[Forest conservation.] Donations to forest conservation activities by "more trees," a forest conservation organization headed by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto. We will support various initiatives based on the keyword "linking cities and forests," such as the development of the "more trees Forest," a forest conservation project in collaboration with local communities.
3.[Medical assistance.] Donations to emergency medical assistance provided by M?decins Sans Fronti?res, a private, non-profit medical and humanitarian aid organization active in approximately 90 countries and regions around the world. The organization provides emergency medical assistance to people in danger in areas of conflict, natural disasters, and poverty in an independent, neutral, and impartial manner.
